Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteering in your community is a great way to get outdoors and meet your neighbors, all while making the neighborhood more beautiful. We’ll be scheduling some cleanup and planting days soon. Please check our event calendar for dates or email Jennifer at jenniferamarvel@gmail.com.
Wish List
The Audubon Park Garden District also has need of any of the following:
- Large containers for plants (terra cotta, ceramic, metal or composite materials).
- Plants. Thinning out your garden? We’ll baby your extra plants and put them to good use in The Garden.
- Potting soil. Because the soil around here needs serious amending.
- Mulch, but please, no cypress mulch. We shouldn’t cut down trees to mulch flowers.
- Fertilizers.
- Wooden bird boxes, various sizes.
- Bird baths.
- Bird seed. Until we get our native plants going.
And we can always, you know, use a cash donation. Just saying.
