Audubon Park Garden District Committees
Active participation by local residents and business owners is vital to the success and continued growth of any neighborhood organization. The Audubon Park Garden District encourages individuals from the district to get involved, either through attending district events or lending your expertise and experience to one of the standing committees.
Design Committee
The Design Committee is working to improve the physical condition of the Garden District. This is being done through design education, awareness, and by involving all community stakeholders in visioning meetings. Suggested improvements include area streetscaping and landscaping, new parking options, neighborhood signage and more.
Economic Restructuring Committee
Economic Restructuring Committee members work on projects that expand the individual and business reach of the district. This includes developing district promotional materials, working with potential business owners and promoting networking between businesses. The Economic Restructuring Committee is being restructured at this time. Ironic, no? Please check back later for updates.
Organizational Committee
The organizational committee is focused on building consensus and fostering cooperation between the many groups, organizations and individuals that are involved in the Audubon Park Garden District.
Promotion Committee
The purpose of the Promotion Committee is to market the Garden District through special events, image development, and retail and business promotions. Recent projects include Friday evening events, the Fall Garden Party, Dog and Cat Days, merchandising, the APGD website and the APGD newsletter.
